On 15 October 2012, the Polish Golf Union decided to adopt to its members PGA Poland. This is the next stage of cooperation between those two organization whose primary goal is to promote golf in Poland.

"This is a historical moment for the PGA of Poland. In this way we become a full partner in the discussion on the future, the principles of the organization and the quality of Polish golf. We bring to PGU our experience, professionalism and commitment to improve a comprehensive curriculum of golf amateur and professional players. " - said Jarosław Sroka, President of PGA of Poland.

Close cooperation between the two organizations seems to be crucial in the context of the upcoming Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro in 2016, where golf will return to the group of Olympic disciplines. We will have a voice in selection of potential candidates to represent our country in the competition courses during this unique event.

"The challenges facing the Polish golf, which include Olympic team selection, further, intensive dissemination and building the base of sponsors, require close, partnership of all backgrounds. From today PGA Poland, as well as part of the PGA Europe, has not only a voice, but also a real impact on development of golf in our country. "- said Jarosław Sroka.

In the context of the decisions Polish Golf Union became the sole body representing the Polish golfers (as amateur and professional) to the authorities of the country. PGA Poland as a member of PGU will represent the interests of their members during important meetings such as General Meetings of the PGU. Also obtained the right to submit their nominations to the authorities of the Union. What is more the PGU as a national sports association has the opportunity to obtain from the Ministry of Sport and Tourism the funds for trainers and instructors. PGU and PGA has now one attitude on the issue of sponsors, tournaments organization and other decision determining the development of Polish golf.

PGA Golf Instructors Association of Poland was founded in 1993 by Pierre Karstrom, Jacek Gazecki and Richard Gcke. It is an organization of professional golf instructors and players. Its task is conducting education and training courses, organization of tournaments for professional players and the wider work to popularize golf in Poland. Since October 2010, the PGA of Poland has the status of "Fully Approved" by the PGAs of Europe. Since June of this year. President of the organization is to Jarosław Sroka.
