ABOUT JAMES
James Ridyard is a leading golf instructor, researcher and co-owner of the Short Game Secrets brand. A growing presence in the world of golf media James is a regular contributor to Europe’s leading golf magazine Today’s Golfer based in the UK. As an instructor he spends the majority of his time teaching elite players but also has a strong background in junior development.
After moving away from playing competitively James sought out many of the brightest minds in instruction in order to find answers to the multitude of questions he had about all aspects of performance from technical to the psychological. Perhaps the most valuable aspect of this process was learning to structure his own thoughts and research into areas that he believed to be lacking research and development.
Co-founding Short Game Secrets with John Graham in 2013 as an outlet for his ongoing short game research has led to industry leading independent video sales and visiting the US, Europe & Asia to deliver seminars to amateurs and professionals alike.
James received the great honour of being invited to speak at the PGA of America’s Teaching & Coaching Summit in January 2015, grabbing the opportunity with both hands James delivered one of the most talked about presentations of the summit, receiving rave reviews from many including some of the most revered names in golf such as David Leadbetter, Chuck Cook, Jim Hardy and more.
While continuing to research and develop himself and his ideas James takes great pride in providing the highest level of full swing and short game coaching available, something you can be sure of is that no stone will be left unturned in helping you achieve your potential.
